Sam Weisman wants to direct movies in Massachusetts near his home. It’s a reasonable expectation especially now that Massachusetts has passed competitive Film Tax Incentives to
attract the Hollywood Studios, Networks, and major producers. In 2000 Weisman directed WHAT’S THE WORST THAT COULD HAPPEN in and around Boston. He found everything he needed here and believed the shoot went smoothly. With the entire principal photography completed here, the area received a considerable economic boost. Sam Weisman has directed notable talents like Steve Martin, Goldie Hawn, and even a young Brad Pitt. You can read the full story written by Robert Pushkar in this issue. You’ll find his nuances on directing appreciable. Sam is writing a book about directing and you’ll soon see segments in the pages of IMAGINE.
