IMAGINE magazine will help bring Hollywood to
Boston on Sunday, March 5 for the sizzling Oscar
Night(r) America celebration to benefit The Ellie Fund
for Breast Cancer. Plan to join us and show off your
black-tie finest on the red carpet while we raise
funds for a good cause.

Beginning at 7:00 p.m., State Room, one of Boston's
most beautiful venues, will
host the 78th Annual Academy Awards(r) celebration
sponsored by IMAGINE, Subaru of New England, Davio's,
Grey Goose, Sam Adams, Dewar's 12, Panera Bread,
Boston Event Guide, WCVB-TV5 and the Langham Hotel,
Boston. The Ellie Fund's Oscar Night(r) America party
is the only event in Massachusetts officially
sanctioned by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts &
Sciences (AMPAS).
This year's celebration features MTV Host/ Miss USA
2003 Susie Castillo and special surprise guests from
Los Angeles and New York, a reception sponsored by
Grey Goose, Dewar's 12 and Samuel Adams with
complimentary beverages, hors d'oeuvres, and oyster
bar by Island Creek Oysters, live fashion by Boston's
hottest designers, oversized video screens and state
of the art sound for Academy Awards(r) Telecast
viewing, official Academy Awards(r) programs straight
from Hollywood, an auction with exclusive celebrity
memorabilia, and great gift bags. There is still time
for you to donate items for the auction.
One of the evenings special guests is Academy Award
winning writer Ernest Thompson (celebrating ON GOLDEN
POND's 25th Anniversary). Pamela Lambert, Thompson's
co-star in THE LOVE LINE, will also attend. THE LOVE
LINE begins principal production in Providence, Rhode
Island in March. Thompson is prepping his script and
will direct.
A special ticket price of $50 is available for the
film industry (before 2/24. $100 after 2/24). General
Guest tickets are $75 (before 2/24. $100 after 2/24 -
if available). A limited number of reserved VIP Tables

Ellie Fund Executive Director Julie Nations says,

The Ellie Fund, founded in 1994, is a local
non-profit organization fighting breast cancer and
easing its effects on patients and families through
its innovative Care for the Caregiver program which
provides transportation to medical appointments,
daycare, housecleaning, groceries and more for breast
cancer patients and family members across
Massachusetts completely free of charge. This is the
organizations' ninth year hosting the Oscar Night(r)
