She and her collaborators
received Emmy nominations for "Black and White" (1990-91),
concerning segregation in CT Public Schools as well
as "Roots of Roe" (1996). Her research for "Roots
of Roe" has led to many speaking engagements and a
seminar in Human Reproduction and Public Policy at
Yale University, 1994-95.
In 1995 she produced the film
"The Amistad Revolt". As Producer with Captive Time
Productions, she co-produced "Loop Dreams" and her
latest work (producer/director) is "Global Village/
Global Pillage" (based on a book by Jeremy Brecher,
and narrated by Ed Asner) which screened in November
on CPTV.
Hubbell is no stranger to
FFNH. Her "Roots of Roe", a history of reproductive
rights issues in Connecticut, was screened at FFNH2.
